// TASK:
"a mobile workspace in lightweight construction method
considering common manufacturing processes"
_

_
existing products and concepts
can be classified into 3 mobility levels_

_
6 possible scenarios
for the use case of a mobile workspace_

_
evaluation of the 3 mobility levels
and classification of the 6 possible use case scenarios_

// mobility level 2
has the best overall result of the evaluation
and covers most of the scenarios_
_
ultimately determining the "must have" requirements_

_
and here it is, the...
// final concept_

lightweight // dynamic // flexible // ergonomic // aesthetic
Astyron is the fully fledged combination of a desk and a chair,
both in lightweight construction, which can be folded together to save space_
The concept is particularly suitable for CoWorking spaces and flexible offices, in which workshops are often given_
It is optimized in terms of production technology and the construction is mainly based on extruded aluminum profiles and aluminum tubes_

the cushioning formation is inspired by automotive racing seats, which need to be rigid, ergonomic and - of course - lightweight_
the Logo, which forms the "Y" in ASTYRON picks up the cushioning contours of the backrests center_
