I'm a LARPer and when one of the event i attend to needed a new coat of arms for a new council, i offered to take care of it. In the facebook group, someone shared a coat of arms made online using a generator and said something like that would be great and they explained why they chose those specific elements. I took it to my heart and decided to go with those elements even though i wasn't entirely convinced by them.

So from the first to the last, you can see the progression.

First is the one generated online. Then is my first sketch, inspired by the Canada's coat of arms. Overall it looks great but they found it too heavy looking, so i took the flowers at the bottom out and with that, we had the base of our coat of arms. I added colors, played around with a lot of font and ended up using Zenda by Paul Lloyd. I played around a bit with my lines cause i wasn't happy with how flimsy they looked. And so the final product was done!
