Legend of Champa - Artbook

Legend of Champa
This is my personal project at the end of July 2019.
The story tells about the process of birth, growth and becoming King ChamPa of a boy named Jatol.
----------------------
The story goes that:
King Po Klong Garai is the head of one of the five small states of the ancient Champa people.
The tower of worshiping the King is still on Trau mountain in Ninh Thuan.
Legend has it that, on that day, the king's mother was a baby supported by bubbles,
floating in front of a couple who were snatching crabs and snails and being taken care of by grandparents.
Once in the forest, the king's mother, now a young woman, accidentally drank water from a rock and conceived him.
Childhood, the king's name was Jatol. Since Jatol was born, he has a body full of scabies,
whichever treatment cannot be cured. Growing up, he and his friend sold betel nut to make a living.
In one betel nut trade, Jatol lay down, he left the job. When his friend came back,
a strange sight was happening in front of the boy's eyes:
There were two dragons licking all over Jatol's body.
Dragon licks to where the scabies scabies disappear.
In just a moment, Jatol has become a handsome handsome guy.
Jatol didn't know that his life was still waiting for miracles.
One day, the king of Champa died. In the midst of everyone discussing the successor,
the white elephant, which had been the king's mount, had suddenly jumped up and out of the castle.
The white elephant arrived in front of the Jatol boy.
This little betel nut boy rode on the back of a white elephant this year,
gradually walking towards the citadel, succeeding the throne.
This is the king of Po Klong Garai.
Later, with the rule of water,
people worshiped the king as a god of water
and told each other mysterious transmissions around the king's life.
