Above Ikarus
Rooftops of former Ikarus bus factory
The assembly plants of the late factory seen from the air looks like geometric abstract paintings but they depicting stages of socialistic industrial architecture over the blooming era of company. Colors of passing time, geometric shapes and richness of details leads us into the time travel machine and perplexed perspective decept us into the world of Asian soaring apartment blocks. Once market leading factory, today extinct spaces.

Ikarus was a world-famous Hungarian bus manufacturer, it dominated bus markets of the entire Eastern Bloc and its allies. It sparkled in the 1970s and 1980s, but time has flown, factory closed in 2003. Today it functions as an industrial park. The halls are Chinese logistics warehouses today, some have been renovated, but there are also some completely abandoned, with trees on the top.
