"Lethe is a dark interactive story based in the schizophrenia spectrum, thus being a tale that extends beyond plain text. This way, it flees from the rigid structures of traditional linear narrative by conceding the protagonism and the steering wheel of the story to the reader, thus transforming his status from a passive point of view to full active protagonism. The aim of Lethe is to generate a highly immersive experience through a fusion of text, visuals, kinetic typography, sound design and a musical atmosphere. By interpreting in a metaphorical way some of the effects of psychotic disorders, which distort the perception of reality, the experience allows the user to understand and empathize with people who suffer them."
