Behind The Wheel | Intro Animation
A short project, creating an intro animation for a show all about driving hot laps around race tracks.
For this animation, I decided to try something a little different and go for a sort-of graphic novel-like style. This required a lot of isolating individual elements and colors, calling for a combination of keying, tracking and rotoscoping. This allowed me to have granular control, and the ability to apply different color correction, posterization and halftone, and other effects settings to each element.
The result was a punchy, fun, energetic intro that set the tone for the fast-paced driving footage that followed.
