Colour is something that moves us in unimaginable ways. I learned a lot about colour, as well as the love of colour from my friend Bea Lubas.

When I first started out in food photography I thought the more colour the better. But when it comes to colour, less can certainly be more. Colour theory is a very fascinating topic with endless options to explore the beauty of food.

This mauve coloured background is not something I would have ever thought could be as beautiful as it is. It’s aways a nice surprise when a colour can well, surprise you!
