»Square Faces« is a woodcut series, originated between the end of 2016 and end of 2019. The first exhibition of »Square Faces« took place at »Enfants Artspace« on 24.01.20 and 30.01.20 in Hamburg-Neustadt and will also be on exhibition at »The Boys Club« in Berlin this year (date will be announced).
The series consists of hundred different faces in a papersize of 20x20cm, handprinted on white matt 200g Römerturm »Oeuvre« paper. Each motive is limited to 30 prints. You can find them all in my webshop.
What follows is a documentation of this really big project from the beginning on, since i`ve took a lot of pics over time. There was a lot of sweat and tears involved and also a little blood, but really little. Have fun!
