U STREET WINE AND BEER REBRANDING
Task: To conceptualize a new corporate identity for a small business, U Street Wine and Beer.
Outcome: The new logo comprises of a liquor bottle that morphs into a corkscrew. The name of the business is well integrated with the icon as the bottom of the corkscrew forms a “U” and the words “St Wine & Beer” were placed in vertical alignment under the icon to form a cohesive visual. The “U” that forms part of the icon was replicated horizontally and is used as a main design element on the marketing collateral. The corporate colour scheme is inspired by the wooden barrels that both wine and beer ferment in.
