Project Overview
UHG discovered that about 20% of the UHC membership base does not take advantage of traditional health benefits because they are healthy individuals who may not require medical care. To find a way to reward these members and build loyalty with them, UHG created a “Healthy You” rewards prototype to test consumer interest in a program that rewards individuals for healthy behaviors. The prototype phase generated enough consumer interest for UHG to pilot the program in the Health4Me app.
