The collection

For this project we adapted the script of "the collection", written by Harold Pinter, to a context of Berlin, Germany in 1938. The Collection is a work that deals with the deception, appearances, lies and intrigue that exists around of relationships. Protagonists involved in a perfect world, full of luxuries, privileges, and glamor, but that hides dark secrets. This story also tells us about the evasion of a world where not everything is what it seems, where there is a restlessness among Berlin elites who seem to have it all, but who are constantly in search of an escape, either through the drugs, alcohol or lust that will allow them to end the monotony. A story about desire and tradition, which allows us to see that not everything that glitters is gold.

Bill and Harry's house was the location chosen to make the model. This is a place where huge secrets are hidden, but at the same time there are spaces in which these two characters can develop with more calm and fluidity taking into account the context in which they were, where gays were frowned upon and the identity must be preserved.

Art direction manual

This project also contains the art direction manual, which has all the research and direction that led us to the conceptualization of the script for making it tangible in the model and laceration of characters.
