The project required to produce A4 artwork to promote the temporary relocation of Aberdeen Science Centre. The poster should be suitable for displaying in the window of the temporary premises to attract visitors. The science centre is primarily aimed at 5-12 year olds but the artwork should be sophisticated enough to appeal to adults too, and should reflect the lively, hands-on appeal of the Science Centre. The artwork has to be produced in full colour.
Concept:
In my design for Aberdeen Science Centre I tried to combine astronomy with other science subjects in order to generalise it rather than just making it about the cosmos itself.
In order to make the text stand out on the very rich background I decided to use orange-yellow colour and make it sensibly big enough to be able to see it from afar.
