Bhooli Dastaan - Forgotten Music of Heera Mandi. -The idea explored the traditional tangent of an art form that rooted from culture and values, once know as the Shahi Mohalla, now faded from the scores of Taxali Gate, the first gate from the seven gates encapsulating the Subcontinent's hub of its exotic rich culture. The idea surfs the Tabaalchis of Heera Mandi, who cultivated the musical tradition of the Subcontinent. Altaf Taffu recalls his days in the bright alleys of the gate, with music and dance through the winds that brightened up the city. As the Tabaalchis third generation now sits in the dark, controversial bazaar of Pakistan's most popular red-light area, Taffu reels through the forgotten tradition of a culture that the country once cherished.
