Logo
The challenge here was giving to Skin Trainer a self-standing identity without changing KIKO’s traditional typeface. After some attempts, I decided to work on a single element – the letter “S” of Skin Trainer – increasing its size and visibility. The result was logo that would still reconnect to KIKO’s identity while introducing a sense of novelty and distinction.

Packaging
My vision was to introduce new packaging elements to compliment the high-end appearance of the product. I chose silver and a deep cherry shade to convey the idea of a high-tech product with an active, precious formula. The front of the box is in silver laminated paper, with a slight white gradient that lets the artwork pop out, red top and back. The colour combination creates a strong visual contrast that effectively grabs the attention of the consumers in stores.

Instore display stand
For the display’s crowner, I developed a selection of 3D models with different framings. The tightest close-up was chosen to add a greater visual impact. I used the same cherry red shade of the packaging to paint the entire crowner, enhancing the visual consistency of the display.

Skin Trainer sold 100.000 pieces in the first month after launch, this becoming one of KIKO’s best sellers.
