COVER PHOTO SHOOTING FOR THE F/W ISSUE
OF ROADSTER MAGAZINE COMMISSIONED BY VOLVO HUNGARY
This September I was fortunate enough to work for Roadster Magazine (the biggest men’s online mag in Hungary) again, this time commissioned by Volvo Hungary. The main article in the fall / winter issue is about the Dolomites, so my job was to take the 2020 Volvo V60 CC, drive to Italy and come home with an image for the cover: showcasing the car with a massive, epic mountain in the background. I only had 2 days to produce the images, so I picked Passo Giau as a location, because I already scouted deeply the area on my previous adventures and also this was the closest mountain pass in the Dolomites for us. To shoot a cover for a fall / winter magazine in the middle of September is not ideal, so the main challenge was to create the ambience of the cold seasons, that’s why I mainly focused on shooting in the blue and purple hours and relied on my post production.
