Rocket Ship Animation

While working with the client to create a brief animation for a company wide presentation about reaching the stars is a great goal, but not nearly specific enough, doesn't involve logistics of getting home, and eventually gets us lost.
Original Sketches while talking to the client involved reaching the stars and crashing into the house, I think something might have been stressful at the time, but ultimately decided against this and more shooting into the stars.
As design moved along reviewing the assets for the animation with the client, the rocket ship was fairly simple and the client expressed concern that it might just look like a missile rather than a human carrying rocket ship. With a little more research, a little extra detail was added, and a port hole type window was added as well.
The final product has a rocket with a bit of a start up period beginning to launch, a slow lift off, accelerating from the ground, then again through the clouds, then sputtering out once making it into space. It works well to explain the concepts the client was trying to demonstrate in their presentation.
