We are increasingly overwhelmed with different views on what one should eat. Nowadays we know many experts,
nutritionists, but especially youtubers who offer us only one truth. But wait, how is it then that everyone is offering
a different truth? If we were to follow all the videos, we couldn't, after all, eat anything at all!

My semestral work ironically examines this phenomenon through video previews before they run. This is a moment
supposed to convince us that we simply must watch the video and that is why it often looks desperate. Various color
symbols, inflated headlines and funny photos of youtubers together all look like kitsch. To make matters worse, most
youtubers spend a few long minutes of their videos advertising themselfs, encouraging viewers to like, comment,
share, or watch, but if they liked the video, they would do it by themselves. Here the question arises as to whether
these people are indeed passing on a particular message or is it a competition who will have the most views?

The work is inspired by existing videos, but it is based mainly on my personal experience, because I have gone
through various forms of eating habits myself. That is why I am in every view and I contradict everywhere. I know how
easy it is to give advice to others. I also know what it is like to be so anxious about one type of dieting that it becomes
a psychological problem. People are dissatisfied with the hospital system, so they seek help themselves. Can these
youtubers offer us real help, or is there anything else behind their effort?
