The main assumption of this project is to create a multifunctional object that would encourage its visit with its appearance and comfort of use. However, in order to fully enjoy its possibilities, also the entire surrounding stadium infrastructure must be at a high level. For this reason, the project also envisages a thorough rebuilding of the object's surroundings.
The designed stadium has been largely embedded in the surrounding terrain. It was also decided to lower the eastern tribune, and thus slant the facade of the building in its direction. The roof above the main entrances has been wavy to emphasize them. Thanks to the abovementioned treatments, the building does not overwhelm with its dimensions and gives the impression of a light and modern. What distinguishes the object from the rest of this type of objects is the form of spotlights that come out of the roof structure and are its integral part.
The project involves dismantling existing stands and unnecessary buildings. The ground under the stands was used to level the area around the stadium. After the stands and girders are builded, it is the turn to install a parametric roof. Finally, the roofing material can be attached. All of these elements are illustrated in the diagram below.
It was attempted that the designed object was a multifunctional object, not only containing the spaces typical of a football stadium. From this arose the idea of creating a shopping and service center. This would make the stadium "live" not only on the day of the match, but also on weekdays. The exact functional layout is shown in the diagram below.
All the solutions adopted at the site were designed to create a coherent and modern vision of the new stadium and its surroundings. The whole assumption was designed in a way that allows people with disabilities to move around the object.
