The paintings of the original bar owner, Georges Kars, who was a Czech painter known for his landscapes and nude paintings, are the ones used for the background of the different menu’s pages.
As it is a night local, and all their services are drinks, black was the perfect option for the base colour. Also, a set of diffe- rent icons were created to show the contents in a more visual way. The typography used is Montserrat, selected thanks to the good readability that it provides used on a black background. The icons mentioned, follow the same symmetry and simplicity of the typography.
