Gong Fu Cha is a Chinese tea ceremony set, which means the "Art of Tea".
Gong Fu Cha’s goal was to sell the tea ceremony set to all tea lovers. The challenge was to respect the history of tea ceremony tradition and design the whole kit in a way which looks sophisticated and contemporary.
The concept for the project is based on the philosophy of tea in Chinese culture. Chinese tea tradition relates to these elements: Harmony, Respect, Purity, Serenity and Tranquility. A Chinese calligraphy style font was used to design these elements in very subtle and light colours; and was bled out of the canvas so that they don’t compete with the other design elements. Golden emboss technique was used to give a sleek and high-end look. A Chinese Calligraphy set was included in the kit to make it attractive.
