As someone who's obsessed and has a deep love of all things Scandanavian, this was an immensely fun project to work on. I used various clips from the History Channel's TV ShowVikings, and the music comes from a Danish TV show on Netflix called The Rain. Using hints of color throughout the sequence against the stark dark and white landscapes, I created the parallax photos from Icelandic nature photography by Adam Young. The whole piece aims to present a story of Vikings first landing in Iceland, and the struggle and beauty that inevitably followed.
