In this module our group were tasked to develop a climate action plan for a city of our choice (Kuala Lumpur). We choose Kuala Lumpur primarily because of its unique context as one of the biggest and fastest growing urban area in the South East Asia.

Some of the main issues we have identified are flooding, construction waste, urban heat effect, high rate of private vehicle usage and consumption. In this action plan, we have considered both mitigation and adaptation action that can be taken by the government. To ensure that these policy recommendations can be implemented, we have done a thorough research on the existing institutional, social, economical and other contexts that are crucial in ensuring the viability of our suggestion.

In this project, I am responsible for deceloping the consumption policies, managing the entire project and designing the poster.
