Comprehensive reform of a restaurant in the Alt Ampurdan, La Bassa Lounge Bar & Restaurant, designed alongside Alberto Tous, fashion designer and owner of the business. Project completed in 2011. The lighting is the operating principle of the project. The color of the light, the chiaroscuro and the conceptual use of some lamps, depict the work as if a theatrical performance is concerned. The furnishings chosen, a mixture of recycled pieces and reimagined uses, share a concept: white.

 

The actualization had a very strong line; both Alberto and I shared the same purpose on the same basis. The lighting would give us the character of the premises, and the emotion of the customer. The color white would give us that austere and quiet point, unable to fight with the lighting and able to be transformed according to the time of the day. And the furniture would convey that controlled eclecticism so sought after by us both.
