REAL ENGLAND – ZINE
Real England is the result of the work on “processing the response to an assigned book in a zine“ brief assigned by my university. I got the title named Real England: The Battle Against The Brand from my professors and one week to create my content review. Because of the lack of time, I decided to illustrate my entire review into a simple and very clear comic book that does not provide my direct opinion, but gives rise to reflection on the issue of corporatization and exaggerated consumerism in today’s England. For the publication I used thin recycled paper and vintage shades of colors to give the product a nostalgic tone.
