“La Tapería” was a pop-up tapas bar which was open for 8 weekends during
november & december 2012.
Counting with only 18 square meters,the main challenge was to build a flexible space. We had to find a solution for housing around 25 people eating and drinking, or just drinking. The solution was reached by building a long but narrow table that holds the food trays through a gap between two layers, allowing people to put up to 14 trays in case of need.
To put a cherry on top, they asked artist Martín Tibabuzo to illustrate their Tapas menu blackboard with typographical elements and beautiful details.
