The Museum of the Street

I believe that the objects on the Berlin-Neukölln street gain an artistic soul and that the missing contextual reference of the objects is reminiscent of a kind of “Readymate”. For me, the street is a museum because there is a clearly visible architecture. Each tree is a pedestal, a place that is used to exhibit the objects. For the people, this place is a delimited area where the objects are exhibited so that other people passing by can look and decide if they like the things and want to take them with them.
The project is based on a series of objects that experiments with the concept of what is damaged and what means rubbish. My idea was to emphasize on its own qualities. I wanted to use a different manufacturing process from what’s usual in the industry, so that the objects would end up with different appearance than before. The idea was to grind the agglomerate woods and cardboard and to get a homogeneous mass. With that mass create light objects using the tubes as a base. The following objects are a small sample of this experimental process.
