Expressive Type Animation
Sketches
This is an expressive type of the word "broken". To visually express the word’s definition, I went with having parts of the word that crack or break into pieces or bigger chunks. In my process sketches, there are several drafts that explore how I wanted to visually express the cracks in the word. The final draft is based on my fifth sketched ideation, followed by an addition of having the letter "o" falling from off the screen which eventually cracks as it lands on the base-line.
