A Happy Accident
After spending hours prepping and turning this Cherrywood bowl, it was all but finished. I placed it on the edge of a workbench for a moment and as I turned around, I knocked it to the ground. It landed on the outer lip and split immediately. Instead of discarding it, I tried to imagine how it could be salvaged. The result is what you see here.
