Pet beer was inspired from the responsibilities consumers must account for while drinking and what one must also realize when owning a pet. Each bottle has a unique creature inspired from the ingredients of the porter breed of beer. Drinking a bottle “tames” the beast inside, allowing the drinker to make a new friend. The colors were found by playing with acrylics on watercolor paper, relating a liquid art medium with a liquid food product, beer.
