Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
Copywriting done in collaboration with Alex Rosser, design by me
Two of my classes in the fall semester, Advanced Copywriting and Portfolio, teamed up to create three campaigns that would allow copywriters and designers to collaborate. I was in the unique position of being the only student in both classes, so I had a hand in both the copy and design of the campaigns I worked on.

This campaign was for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. We focused on an insight that told us adults are reluctant to join the volunteer program, because they think it’ll be like adopting a kid: way too much responsibility for their liking. However, with our campaign, we wanted to show that being a Big Brother or Big Sister is no more than doing the same things you do to waste time, just with a kid. The aim of the copy and theme of the campaign was to take a slight dig each time at adults seeing the ads, and this tone is carried through with the experiential event of a Kids Roast hosted by BBBS and the voice of the social media.
