HTB Brand Refresh


Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) is one of the largest Churches in the UK. Under the HTB umbrella are various initiatives such as the Alpha course, the Leadership Conference and multiple national and international events reaching tens of thousands of people around the world every year. 

With a vast congregation, the church was looking for refresh of their existing branding - to become more relevant to those in their 20’s who are searching for meaning and purpose, but without alienating older generations of church goers. The branding needed to be bold, simple and innovative. The core brand elements being simple and minimal but designed so that they could be taken to different levels over time which are more daring, abstract and experimental.

The main idea behind the brand refresh is the concept of Kinetic.

Meaning that everything is in motion, the church, the congregation, the city, the values, the communication. This applies across all elements of the brand refresh - From the photography that showcases motion and movement with both film and digital image (see above), to typography that warps, adapts and transform, to the colour palette and supporting visuals.
