It was such a blast to create a brand identity for Wheeliams, a new business based in the north of England that creates custom car parts and services for VW Camper vans. // There was a lot of freedom with this brief to create something that really stands out from the crowd. Drawing inspiration from timeless iconic car brands I wanted to create a brand for Wheeliams that would both stand the test of time as well as appeal to a modern and adventurous target market. The client had intentions to expand the business into a sub-company ‘Overland’ over time, so when designing the logo I created it in a way that could made space and grow with the direction of the company. The logo is designed in a way that allows ‘Overland’ to visually pair with ‘Wheeliams' (see below).
The client had an existing website that they were using but it was not serving the new direction of the brand. I re-designed the site in a way that was user-friendly and encourages the customer to the online shop and mailing list. The website utilises iconic imagery to directly engage those interacting with the brand and to encourage that sense of wild adventure.
