A globally recognized art event appearing in two locations annually has a limited marketing campaign; recognizing these limitations determined the need for a comprehensive promotional print campaign. Previous years were limited on their marketing efforts as well, and with little promotion to build awareness of the event.

A reoccurring theme of hands was used through the entire collateral system, as well as aligning with the Swiss theme that Art Basel is known for. Hands are used to express the freedom and individual uniqueness of every artist and their work, while the typographic treatment pulls in the trending swiss aesthetic.

 
 A double sided poster highlighting general event information was the first piece of collateral to be distributed across major industry trade publications as a tear-out message. 
A direct mailer loaded with information was mailed out to members who registered and purchased tickets for the event early. As anadded takeaway, a unique interactive twist that quickly described all four arenas of the event was enclosed (the design of the piece is an Interloop Never-Ending Fold).
A direct mail package was created and distrubuted out to visitors who registered and purchased tickets for the event early, offering a wealth of information about the event.  Each spread offerered information and insight about the event to better help visitors know what to expect and prepare for the best. This one is describing the overall event.

 While at the event, visitors were able to pick up informational fyers that were placed throughout the entire event, to find out about what activities were happening where and when. This one was describing the Conversations Program.
