I never thought I would ever write this book. My past made me strong,
and because of that, I felt that looking back was a sign of weakness, and
this is not allowed in my life. I learned that it doesn’t matter how hard you
hurt yourself falling, just get up, dust off, and continue moving. NO ONE
should ever see you crying or hurt, because this will give them leverage to
hurt you more. I never thought that my past should be told. I did nothing
special, I did everything for one single purpose: to survive and to help the
people I love. I tried to forget and keep away all the memories. I was lucky
and happy to survive, and because of that, I was telling myself, “run away
from all memories. You survived, and there is no need to keep all the memories”.
I was living in constant fear.
