Friday the 13th directed by Kid Fizzle [New Line Cinema]
[Drama-Horror]
Jason Vorhees was a child with an abnormal growth around his left eye, that made it look smaller than the other.
A lot of the other children teased him for this.
Parents neglected him.
Adults ignored him.
To get him off their backs, they sent him to a summer camp inbetween school, where a lot of the campers, and counselors stayed away from him.
The parents kind of subtly hinted that they didn’t really care what happened to him, in a weird way, when they dropped him off at camp in 2004.
They sent him to the center of Lake Eerie/Crystal Lake in a boat, which got it’s name because the water was so clear.
The boat tipped.
The counselors ignored him.
He survived. And swam to the other side, where he watched the campers act like nothing happened.
Parents started asking questions, and the counselors claimed they were all doing something private, at the time.
Parents assumed they were busy making love. And a child disappeared.
A search team is put together, but they never find Jason.
They don’t really even try.
He grows up in the woods.
Which makes him look big, and sickly.
The camp remains open.
15 years later they have a counselor reunion at Crystal Lake.
Jason finds a black hockey mask, with red markings on it.
And catches them doing private things through their windows.
And then murders the counselors after he hears one of them say they let him drown in 2004.
And then throws their bodies, in the lake.
A swat team is sent in, to stop a madman.
They dive the lake, and find the bodies.
The parents show up, including Jason’s parents, and ask about the boy who went missing.
The mother says that nothing happened to her son, and brings forward a child, that makes a counselor that knew what happened 15 years ago, start to cry.
The mother says that if the counselor says anything, she’ll have to throw him in the lake, as well.
The counselor isn’t sure if she’s talking about himself, or the new son she calls Jason.
Jason is standing in the woods, across the lake, watching.
The mother pretends she is both missing a child, and has her son, at the same time.
A few people, including a counselor, stay behind, for a reason to tell a great story around a campfire.
The mother wanders into the woods, at night, not wanting to be seen during the day, after she sees a man in a hockey mask standing behind the bushes.
She approaches Jason, with a flashlight, and tries to murder him with a screwdriver.
She murders the counselor - who quietly stuck around, wondering why the mother wanted to stay - with an arrow.
And she murders his girlfriend, and boyfriend, who show up, and hear him screaming for help.
A voice from the darkness tells her to hang the bodies from the trees.
The police show up, and arrest the mother, and carry her off, as they retrieve the bodies from the woods.
All the while, the mother claiming she loved her son.
And she did it to get back at them, for letting her son die in 2004.
And the child she had with her, wasn’t hers.
The last shot is a group of campers, and counselors, in red shirts, looking at each other, in disbelief.
