Logo symbol created for Arts Extract, an arts and culture publication and website based in Madison, WI. 

Much of Arts Extract's content pertained to art, music, and film; so the inspiration for this symbol was a combination of colored vinyl records and multiplied CMY colors that suggest printmaking or projection. While colored lighting combines additively, multiplying colors felt more appropriate for this project.
