For the design of the graphic image of the 2012 Blanc, graphic design festival of Catalonia, we started from the concept “wedding”, as a symbolism of a joyful day. The “bride” with her white dress and her fresh and spontaneous attitude represents the festival, and the speakers represent the “grooms”. A union to share and enjoy.
The result was a collection of 4 posters along with many other coordinated pieces, both online and printed: postcards, banners, spots, web, newsletters, brochures, bags, bracelets, assistantsʼ and staffʼs tags, t-shirts etc. and a special piece, the “black” Blanc notebook, where you can only write with a white pencil.
Moreover, we commissioned the typographer Joan Carles Casasín, to create a special typography for the occasion , the Blanqueta, to go with all the festivalsʼ graphics.
