Driver Magazine
The “Driver Magazine” was made through Adobe Photoshop. It was one of our first projects of the semester, so the idea was to become familiar with the program. We were expected to follow the directions to get the end product that was shown in the book. Then, it was up to us to change the image however we wanted to make it our own.

My goal was to successfully recreate the image while understanding the new skills being taught. I wanted to achieve a professional outcome that looked clean enough to be used as an actual magazine cover. I was also aiming to edit the cover so that the car stood out and looked fierce. I believe I was able to achieve my desired outcome, because it looks precise and the background gradient makes the car stand out.
Storm Front Conspiracy CD Cover
The music CD cover was made for my Intro the Multimedia class. Since it was our first project of the semester it was slightly difficult because it was our first time using Illustrator. It required us to use the lasso tool, crop images, and navigate through, move, and transform different layers. The many new skills learned in this project could be used to create a variety of images, such as an advertisement for a business or a poster for a band.

My goal was to gain knowledge on the program and start to understand the basics. I wanted to achieve a look different from the original. I feel I could have edited it differently, but at the time I did not have enough experience. I would have liked to experiment with changing the color of the text.
