My wedding was a mix of Indian and English cultures and I wanted to represent this on the wedding stationery.
Inspiration for the design came from the patterns and colours used on Indian fabrics. I found and adapted an Indian shape and created a strong graphic that would work repeated and on its own.
The contrast of simple, clean typography and an intricate Indian pattern produced a visually striking invitation that represented our two cultures.
All stationery was printed on Omnia 250gsm. An uncoated stock that added the finishing touch.
The design was continued through on to the RSVP cards, order of service, table plan, table names
and thank you cards.
