c. 2019

This tea kettle was designed as a submission for the renderweekly challenge ( Season 4, week 1). The challenge was to design and render a kettle. In order to enhance a design or make something new. The designed was inspired by the work of Virgil Abloh in collaboration with Ikea (MAKERAD). The helvetica typography within the quotation marks represent the iconic signature of Virgil. The sleek and simple shapes reminds the work of Dieter Rams. The rationality is a key concept in the making of this tea kettle by omiting the unimportant of the object. The kettle made of ceramic is also available in many colors, which are inspired by Virgil's company: Off-White.
The kettle comes with a ceramic cap.
