Weekend in OldTown - visuals

Weekend w OldTown ('Weekend in OldTown' in Polish) is a new project by the organizers of OldTown Larp - the biggest post-apocalyptic live action role playing game in Europe. They wanted to invite new people to the amazing game site raised yearly by its attendees. Unlike the game, which is for people over 18 years old only, the Weekend was a family event, where children were invited as well.

The logo was supposed to use the original OldTown logo (created by Agnieszka Gumkowska and Wojciech Cichy) to create a new visual that would appear family-friendly. The aim was to make it speak 'summertime' and bring positive connotations of seaside attractions. The radioactivity symbol inserted in the sun, also used as an emblem in some other graphics, gives a hint to the post-apocalyptic feel of the festival.

The ticket's design is inspired by the exchange cards used in Poland in the 80s.
