“Pom poms worked!", Manuel, California
Manuel told me, “ I don’t like to laugh, or smile that much. I am a serious person.”
I replayed.. “ Really? Oh man, life is too short for that. Look!"
(I took my colourful pom poms out of my pocket and asked him..)
"Did you like my pom poms!?” he started to laugh..“Why would you carry that!?”
I got the real him captured with the journey of it. 5 photographs, 3 real fragments of life. That 3 photographs are what I am living for and the reason I carry interesting things when I go outside. My friends complain sometimes because I look and act like a circus person, but.. as Robin would say
“You treat a disease you win you lose, you treat a person, I guarantee you, no matter the outcome - you win.”
