Yoknapatawapha
A journey into the fictional county of Nobel winning author, William Faulkner.
In 1998 i did a freelense story about William Faulkner´s fictional county Yoknapatawpha. It´s based upon and inspired by Lafayette County, Mississippi and its county seat of Oxford, Mississippi. It took me 4 years of research bevor I got there. I have read all his novels, his biography and all the letters he wrote to his publisher.

I did this story on 36mm film and made handprints by myself to get this dodgy colors.
