When researching for this poster I found the statistic that 250 million children are unable to read, write, or count and that inspired me to make my poster about illiteracy. I knew I wanted my poster to be more type focused and I wanted it to say something that people could read quickly, but that would surprise them and make them want to read further. That is why I chose to say "Some Children Can't Read This" because I think that it's alarming and sad and will draw people in the read the smaller statistic.
