On April 22nd, along with seven other people, I decided to fight Global TV's decision to cancel a wonderful Canadian TV show called Bomb Girls.
Bomb Girls is a show unique among thousands, bringing to the forefront strong female characters that are rich and layered. Instead of being mere entertainment, Bomb Girls is moving, inspiring, motivating, and impassioning. With brilliant writing, superb acting, and beautiful sets and cinematography, Bomb Girls stands apart from almost every other TV show currently airing.
The eight of us are scattered around the world, each with different strengths; I was the graphic designer.
I started by producing 4x6 postcards for mailing to Global TV. Each postcard is either a play on something from the show, or an actual WW2 propaganda poster. Some postcards can also be enlarged to be an 11x17 poster.

The folks over at Reelz's Bomb Girls were extremely kind on our efforts to keep the show alive. As a thank you I designed a special set and handmade an envelope to send to those running the account.
