Below are the individual photos used in the magazine spread:
In order to reach our finished product, we spent two days planning and two days shooting in a photo studio. While brainstorming a product to focus on, our team came up with the idea of using hand sanitizer as our focus. Rheanna noted that she had an abundance of Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer products, thus we decided to use Bath & Body Works as our brand. With this we brainstormed how to market the products using a theme based off of the scents available. We ideated with making events the theme using birthdays, vacation and Christmas, but landed on seasons to market the product as being available anytime of the year. Next we drew out multiple rough drafts for the spread, gathered props, adjusted lighting and photo settings during the shoots, used Lightroom to edit the photos, and used InDesign to put together the final spread. Below are the props and lighting modifiers we used for each shot:
- Hero: hand sanitizer, grassy background, tile background, dirt, Courtney's hands
