KnowQuest was introducing a subsidiary of the company called “Academic Feedback (AF)” My mission was to help with the branding of AF.
Details
KnowQuest.net started as the world's first and only textbook rating platform. After much time was spent getting feedback from students, professors, publishers, administrations, and bookstores, we are adding school ratings, class ratings, and resource ratings.
As such, we are shifting our branding, logo, etc. from KnowQuest to AcademicFeedback. The latter speaks more to what we do and resonates better with students and professors. We already purchased academicfeedback.com and academicfeedback.ca!

Above are my initial logo sketches for Academic Feedback. Numbers 3, 12 and 13 were used to continue on to the next step.
Above are the finished color comps for the selected logos. They were created using Adobe illustrator.
The final logo. I centered the AF more inside the circle and had the bottoms and ends connect to the circle to create a better overall feel of unity and symmetry.
Academic Feedback also wanted a poster design and above are my initial sketches. Ideas 1 and 5 were combined to the create the final design.
I actually took a picture of myself to use for the illustrator design and below is the final poster created in illustrator.
Next was the Media Kit for Academic Feedback. They wanted me to use this selected logo to create the finished product. Below are the sketches. Design 3 was taken for final design.

I did create a 5 minute video to give to the client to help explain my designs and reasoning. It is below for your enjoyment :)
