Tate Modern

Work that I liked.

Water-Lilies after 1916 - I don't know what pulled me towards this image but I had just caught my eye, without looking at a text I tried to figure what the image could have been. I first saw it as just a green mess but after a moment I realised it was just the view of a lake with water-lilies planted around the edge, I just loved the amount of colour within this image and the fact that it actually to me a moment to figure out what the image could be.

Miracle - In this image I just loved the amount of colour and the glowing against the dark background. To me the image really had a holy effect in it, I also loved how the image was easily seen from a distance.

Work that I didn't like.

Hope - this was an image I didn't really know how to feel, I liked the effect but I just didn't really like the message, I didn't like how the word faded so quickly, I did however like how the colour does blend in the corner.

Country Cityscapes Series - I really didn't like these images as I felt they would have been beautiful landscapes but yet the black and/or white bars and completely ruined the images, they cut right through the image without any kind on patterning or anything.
