The Armadillo Club was originally formed in 1990, as four kids trying to get out of the rain. We took up shop in an old shed, cleaned it up, served soda and played wiffle ball. Now adults, the Armadillo Club is still together and making original t-shirts in Philadelphia, PA.

 

When coming up with the brand, I wanted the design to have an old "clubhouse" feel, yet still be sophisticated. The use of an armadillo felt necessary, especially since there are no armadillos in Philadelphia. I also wanted to represent our four co-founders, which was done with the four stars. Majority of Armadillo Club design is kept simple, to showcase the actual merchandise. The logo is to be kept black when possible and an accent blue (PMS 7462) can be used when needed.
