Poznan Warta HYBRID
This is my diploma project, I made in 2017. It is designed to be a landmark on the Poznan Warta tourist's trail. Following building is a hybrid joining the functions of restaurant, bike rental, canoe rental and tourist information point. When designing this building I researched the issues of restaurant design
Geometry of the terrace stairs emphasizes the DOWNSLOPE, exterior landscape architecture creates a form of gentle sloped amphitheater, on which sitting we can see the river and the PANORAMA of the city.
Under the left side
Ground floor
Looking at the picture we can notice that ground floor consists of the 3 parts. Its SOUTHERN part is a canoe rental. The gyms are included in this segment. We can enter here or thorough western entrance or thorough stairs that lead to the bottom of the building.
The NORTHERN segment is designed as a free-standing structure (only joined with the rest of the complex by the extensive green roof). This is a commercial part, that can be rent for independent investor.
